Referendum Result Announced

The residents of Woodplumpton Parish went to the Polls on 11 January, to decide whether to adopt the Neighbourhood Plan for Woodplumpton.  A yes vote would mean that Preston City Council would need to use the neighbourhood plan in deciding whether to approve planning applications in our Parish.

The results of the poll were:

Number of Votes Cast in Favour:       384     87%

Number of Votes Cast Against             57     13%

A landslide victory for the Yes Vote
